• Kids Klub is for kids ages 5-12.

• Before school times are 6:45 a.m. to the bell.
• After school is from the bell to 6:00 p.m.
• Kids Klub even offers full day and half day services when school is out of session for the day.

• Kids Klub is closed on major holidays and school snow closure days.

• Please register online by clicking here. All participants must have an account with our registration software, Active Network. Once your account is set up you can schedule your child's attendance and either pay in advance or set up a payment plan all online.

The Cañon City Area Recreation and Park District strives to provide the best childcare program for our community.  We understand the importance of affordable childcare for working parents and since 2019 we have not adjusted our rates.  This was accomplished despite minimum wage increases and increases for supplies and materials.  We have even secured grants to try and lower rates over the last two years.  This is something the Recreation District has taken pride in.

Inflation has finally caught up with the Kids Klub program.  For the first time in four years, we are going to increase our prices.  This is not a decision we have taken lightly.  Wages have increased by nearly $3 per hour, grocery prices have increased, the cost to purchase recreational supplies has increased, and the facility fees from the school district have risen for the first time in ten years.  The costs for field trips and transportation have increased as well.  The grant funding we have used for the last two years to subsidize the program is no longer available.  With those facts in mind, we have no other option but to increase our fees.

• After school $11.00
• Full day $30.00
• Half day $19.75
• If your child is not registered on time, drop-in fees will apply (Before School -$2, After School- $2, Full day- $7 and Half Day- $2)

Accounts must stay current. Any past due balances over two weeks will result in the suspension of your account.
