Easter Eggvent

Time to Get Egg-Cited!

Three individuals, two in police uniforms and one with bunny ears, hold colorful items and smile in front of a vehicle.

The 2026 Canon City Area Recreation and Park District's Easter egg hunt is finally here!

Instead of hosting a one-day event at Rouse Park with thousands of eggs covering the fields, we are limiting the number of eggs to find and hiding them throughout some of our parks.

Rules:
  • When you find an egg bring it to the Rec Office (575 Ash St) to exchange it for an easter basket
  • Prizes are limited to one egg per family
  • All ages welcome
Eggs will be hidden at:
  • Pathfinder Park (6639 HW 115)
  • The Riverwalk (Between Sells Ave. and McKenzie Trail)
Date:
  • The creature has started hiding his eggs. Pay close attention to our Facebook Page!
  • This event will last until all eggs have been found
